📌 Overview

From 14 to 23 January 2025, UHAC successfully conducted the Halal Executive Training at its Kuala Lumpur training facility.

This intensive 10-day program was attended by a focused group of 10 participants, guided by certified Halal trainers Puan Norhaizam Md Sani and Cik Zulaikha Ibrahim.

The training aimed to build strong Halal competency among aspiring professionals ready to lead Halal operations and compliance initiatives in their respective industries.

🎯 Training Objectives

This executive-level training was designed to:

  • Equip participants with deep knowledge of Halal governance and Halal Assurance System (HAS).

  • Prepare trainees to serve as Halal Executives, internal auditors, or Halal Committee members.

  • Provide practical exposure to JAKIM’s certification process, including documentation and audit readiness.

  • Promote leadership in Halal integrity and corporate compliance.

📚 Modules Covered

Participants completed a structured training syllabus, which included:

  • Fundamentals of Halal and Haram in Islamic Jurisprudence

  • Understanding the Halal Certification Process (MS1500:2019)

  • Halal Control Points (HCP) & Halal Assurance System (HAS)

  • Internal Halal Auditing and Corrective Action Planning

  • Halal Documentation & Record-Keeping Procedures

  • Role of the Halal Executive in Organizational Compliance

Participants were awarded the Certificate of Completion from UHAC, verifying their capability to act as Halal Executives in their organizations.

All the participant also will be awarded the Certificate of Completion from Halal Professional Board JAKIM to those who passed the test that has been done at the end of this training.

This training meets industry requirements for competency-based learning and prepares individuals for roles critical to Halal operations.
