Enhancing the readiness and competency of internal Halal committee members through structured, certified in-house training.

📌 Overview

On 15 January 2025, UHAC conducted a 1-day Halal Competency In-House Training at DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City, focusing on upskilling the hotel’s Internal Halal Committee (IHC).

A total of 14 officially appointed committee members participated in this intensive session, led by En. Aizat Fathi, an experienced Halal trainer.

This training fulfills the requirement stated in the Malaysian Halal Certification Procedure Manual (Domestic) 2020, which mandates that all IHC members undergo Halal Competency Training at least once every three (3) years.
