📌 Overview

On 13 & 14 January 2025, UHAC successfully hosted a two-day Halal Competency Training via online, tailored for individuals and professionals seeking structured and practical Halal-related knowledge. A total of 14 participants attended this intimate and impactful session, which was conducted by two experienced trainers:

Ustaz Muhamad Elyas Harun (Day 1) and

Miss Azurah Aziz (Day 2).

🎯 Training Objectives

This competency-based training was designed to:

  • Provide in-depth understanding of Halal standards and practices.

  • Equip participants with the skills to handle Halal-related responsibilities in their organizations.

  • Prepare attendees for roles such as Internal Halal Committee members, Halal Executives, and Halal Compliance Officers.

  • Offer practical exposure to Halal Control Points (HCP) and audit preparation.

Day 1: Ustaz Muhamad Elyas Harun
