Accessible Halal education for all – bringing certified awareness training to your screen.

📌 Overview

On 4 February 2025, UHAC successfully conducted a Public Online Halal Awareness Training, welcoming 53 participants from various companies and sectors involved in the Malaysian Halal Certification Scheme.

This fully virtual session was conducted via an interactive platform and facilitated by Ms. Zulaikha, a certified Halal trainer known for her engaging and insightful delivery.

The training was part of UHAC’s ongoing commitment to make Halal learning accessible and compliant with JAKIM’s Halal training requirements, especially for businesses preparing for or maintaining Halal certification.

🎯 Training Objectives

The training was designed to:

  • Fulfill mandatory Halal Awareness Training as required under the Malaysian Halal Certification Procedure Manual (MPPHM) Domestik 2020

  • Equip staff and business owners with foundational knowledge of Halal principles and operational responsibilities

  • Ensure participants are well-informed about their roles in maintaining Halal compliance, particularly in production, procurement, and warehousing.

  • JAKIM’s Halal Certification Process & MS1500:2019 Overview

  • Staff Roles in Supporting Halal Integrity
