Halal Competency Training with Lay Hong Liquid Egg (LHLE) – 7 February 2025
On 7 February 2025, UNITI Halal Centre (UHAC) successfully conducted a Halal Competency Training program for 23 participants from Lay Hong Liquid Egg Sdn Bhd (LHLE), a subsidiary of Lay Hong Berhad and a leading producer of pasteurized liquid egg products in Malaysia.
The training, held at LHLE, was designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of Halal principles, Halal Assurance Systems (HAS), and the Halal Toyyiban Assurance Management System (HTAMS).
This program is part of UHAC’s commitment to supporting Halal-certified companies in enhancing their internal capabilities and ensuring continuous compliance with JAKIM standards.
Participants included representatives from various departments, including Quality Assurance (QA Executives), Production, Maintenance, Sales, and Management, ensuring a comprehensive approach to implementing Halal requirements across all operations.
The interactive session, led by UHAC-certified trainers, covered:
- Halal fundamentals and regulatory compliance
- Halal risk assessment and control measures
- Best practices for maintaining Halal integrity in production and logistics
- Internal Halal audits and documentation requirements
This training not only empowered LHLE’s workforce with the latest Halal knowledge but also strengthened their ability to uphold Halal integrity in producing liquid egg products for both domestic and regional markets.
