In line with our mission to strengthen Halal integrity within organizations, UNITI Halal Centre (UHAC) was invited by Bunge Loders Croklaan Oils Sdn Bhd to conduct a customized In-House Halal Awareness Training. The program was carefully structured to provide employees with essential knowledge of Halal principles, certification requirements, and practical strategies for maintaining compliance across the supply chain.

Halal Awareness Training is not only an internal best practice but also a mandatory requirement under the Manual Procedure for Malaysia Halal Certification (Domestic) 2020. By attending this program, participants gained exposure to both the conceptual and practical aspects of Halal management, enabling them to translate knowledge into daily operations. The training emphasized the importance of Toyyiban standards—ensuring that products are not only permissible but also wholesome, safe, and of high quality.

    The training covered the essential framework for managing Halal assurance systems at the organizational level.
  5. Discussing Current Issues and Challenges in the Halal Industry
    Real-world challenges, from supply chain integrity to global regulatory changes, were discussed to prepare participants for practical implementation.
